Dinosaurs Video
In the movies, dinosaurs rampage around and seem terrifyingly real. In the early days of CGI, the special effects seemed like cartoons. In more modern movies, the dinosaurs seen in videos such as Jurassic Park and Godzilla take on a ferocious life on their own. When raptors are chasing the characters, you can feel your heart pounding in excitement. You can imagine being devoured by a dinosaur and you cringe in your seat as the heroes of the movies attempt to make their escape.
Dinosaur - Amazing videos are here
Dinosaurs are primitive, ferocious reptiles. Long extinct, yet somehow our fascination with them runs deep in our veins. The Tyranosaurus Rex, king of all lizards, was once portrayed by actors in costumes. No more. In modern times the directors can seamlessly merge dinosaurs and humans using computer graphics. Motion labs carefully weave special effects into the videos and bring to life the dinosaurs, without the risk of the actors being eaten.
Animation
The jaw dropping special effects which would have used all of the worlds computing resources, twenty years ago, can now actually be built on your own desktop. The ability to create a dinosaur video, or even a series of videos, can be done with software which only costs a few hundred dollars. More advanced programs use high quality graphics cards to render textures with detail that goes right down to the pores breathing over the musculature of the dinosaurs.
Television studios create dinosaur videos by employing teams of graphic artists. Training in computer animation is available throughout the world. Using programs such as Maya, 3dMax, and more, it is now possible to create realistic dinosaur videos without even employing an actor, except for voice effects. The dinosaurs can be generated with realistic textures and movement characteristics. Videos have even gone so far as to map out entire scenes with flora and fauna that does not exist. In the old days, props such as plastic plants were used to flesh out a dinosaur scene. Thanks to modern studio advances, dinosaurs are created by animation studios, along with almost every piece of scenery. When animation is used in a dinosaur video, it quickly becomes impossible to distinguish the animated portions of the movie with actual film footage. The special effects industry in Hollywood ensures that every time you see a dinosaur on film, it will look, move and even sound more realistic.
Special Effects
Special effects using dinosaurs often employ robotics as well. Robotic dinosaurs are everywhere in hollywood, well almost everywhere. These are usually called animatrons and if you want to learn how to make these study robotics and animatronics. A trip to Universal Studios hollywood will show how impressive a set of this type can be. During filming the robots are seamlessly blended into background jungles swarming with giant computer rendered plants and insects. Each piece can take from a few minutes to several days to construct, depending on the difficulty and detail level desired.
The dinosaurs have come a long way, lets hope that those in the movie Jurassic park stay a fantasy and do not become a reality. Some things are better left on the video screen.
